Senior Pictures

August 13, 2014 in All Entries, Family Photography, Portraits

In just a few short weeks summer will end and fall will begin.  As the new season approaches so does a new school year.  For many, this will be their last year of high school.  One last year of Football Friday nights, one last year with the friends taking the same classes.  Soon you will be off to college in various places, pursuing new opportunities, and taking advantage of all that life has to offer.  For many people, the senior year is the most fun and memorable year of their preliminary education.  For parents, the senior year can be quite hard.  As each day passes, they know that their child is one day closer to leaving home for the first time and becoming their own adult.  We must savor these moments because they are so limited!  What better way than to book a senior-photo/portrait session.

Senior With Letter Jacket

Don’t forget to accessorize when preparing for your senior pictures.  Bring one or two items that are sentimental with you, such as a letter jacket or favorite outfit, sign, or sports gear.  If there is something you want to incorporate we will be sure to get it in the picture.

Senior photos can be taken in so many different ways.  We aim to capture the personality of each individual in several ways.  The photo session is completely up to you.  Having three generations of photographers living in Asheville, we know of many great places to take your picture.  Senior pictures and portraits look great in both the mountains and downtown Asheville.  The artsy surroundings and graffiti are great backgrounds.  The Botanical Gardens at UNCA are also a beautiful place to capture more subtle photographs.  We use different lenses to complement you and your surrounds in order to achieve the style you desire.  Here are some examples of the various locations and styles we have done in the past:
